Let’s be real: social media doesn’t run itself.
Every post, comment, DM, and viral moment? It’s all part of the whirlwind I call my day as the Keeper of the Clouds. There’s no magic wand (though a well-packed bowl might be close), but there’s a lot of love, laughter, and, occasionally, organized chaos.
Some days, I feel like a creative genius…
Other days, I’m Googling “how to fix everything in 10 minutes” or whispering sweet nothings to my Wi-Fi router. Either way, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Here’s how it all goes down, from sunrise to starlight.
Morning Vibes: Post, Sip, Engage
My mornings are like a well-oiled grinder. I start with a plan—the content schedule I meticulously built during last month’s caffeine-fueled, hyper-focused brainstorming session.
First up: posting. Whether it’s a Reel that took hours to edit or a quirky caption I spent way too much time perfecting, hitting “publish” is the easy part. The real magic happens after the post goes live.
With a fresh cup of coffee (or tea, depending on my mood), I dive into engagement mode.
Comments? I see you. DMs? I got you.
It’s like hosting a never-ending party where every guest has something to say; and I’m the host who loves keeping the energy alive. The funny memes, heartfelt messages, and even the occasional “Hey, your site’s down” DM all remind me why I do this. I’m always looking for ways to spice up my mornings, though. By the way, any recommendations on a coffee cup or glass sipper to make my mornings even more fun? I’m open to trying something new for the New Year!
Tackling the Frenzy: Facebook Edition
Then there’s Facebook… Oh, Facebook. It’s the land of passionate debates, surprising kindness, and the occasional “Is this product real?” comment.
I roll up.. my hoodie sleeves 😉 … and dive in, tackling the never-ending wave of messages and comments. This part of my job feels like a mix of therapy, customer service, and comedy improv.
And yes, 7/10 stoners are kind-hearted (shoutout to the other 3 — hope your day gets better).
The best moments are when I come across a comment that’s so funny or insightful, it deserves to be framed. One of my favorites recently was, “Your gummies should come with a warning: too delicious to share.” Moments like these remind me how much humor connects us all.
Do you agree that humor is the best way to handle even the trickiest comments? I’d love to hear your take (or your best pun — bonus points if you make me snort laugh).
Building Relationships Through Influencer Outreach
By midday, I’m in influencer mode. Checking in with our Cloud Creators feels more like catching up with friends than work. We brainstorm content ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and make magic happen.
These aren’t just partnerships, they’re relationships built on trust, mutual respect, and a shared passion for storytelling. Some of my favorite moments come from these conversations too, seeing influencers nail a piece of content we brainstormed together is the ultimate win.
By the way, Influencers aren’t just part of our marketing plan; they’re part of our community. I’ve gotten to know so many amazing people who not only create incredible content but also inspire me with their creativity and dedication.
(Seriously, shoutout to the influencers who remind me to drink water during our chats.)
And let’s be honest, every day could use a little more of that kind of energy.
Creativity at the Core of It All
Creativity is the heart of my role, and let me tell you… it keeps me on my toes.
From dreaming up the next big giveaway idea to crafting product descriptions that sound as good as they taste, every task is a new adventure.
Some days, my ideas flow like a perfectly rolled joint. Other days, it’s more of a sticky grinder situation… but hey, that’s life, right?
One of my favorite projects recently was the Chaka x Indacloud $500 Giveaway Haul. It was my first organic brand collaboration, and I couldn’t be prouder of how it all came together. From curating the assets to building the connection with Chaka Glass, every detail felt like a creative milestone.
The cherry on top? The winner ended up being a longtime Chaka Glass fan and an EMT — talk about a full-circle moment!
Seeing someone who works so hard for others win a haul like this made the experience even more rewarding and reminded me how impactful thoughtful collaborations can be. It’s moments like these that make me excited for future projects and keep me brainstorming new ideas.
Speaking of brainstorming, what’s a good joke I can use to keep things light and fun during our next team meeting? Collaboration works best when everyone’s smiling — so I’m all ears!
Learning, Growing, and Staying Curious
Social media doesn’t wait for anyone, period. Trends evolve faster than I can scroll, and the cannabis space is no different. I spend part of my day researching everything from industry updates, audience behavior, to even ways to level up my game. Whether it’s diving into TikTok trends or studying the psychology of engagement, I’m constantly learning and adapting.
It’s humbling to realize how much there’s still to discover, but that’s what makes this job exciting. Every new piece of knowledge feels like adding a tool to my kit, ready to use when the right moment strikes.
Finding My Flow: Yes, I Do It High
Okay, let’s address the elephant in the sesh: yes, I do all this high.
Not “couch-locked, binge-watching a series” high, but balanced, in-the-zone, creativity-on-demand high. For me, it’s about finding that sweet spot where ideas flow freely, focus comes naturally, and the work feels effortless.
It’s not for everyone, but for me, it’s the key to staying in the moment and loving what I do.
Why I Love What I Do
Here’s the truth: this job isn’t always glamorous. There are tough days, long nights, and moments when the notifications feel endless…
But then there are the moments that make it all worth it. It’s the DM from someone who says our product helped them relax after a rough day. It’s the excitement of seeing an influencer nail their content and share it with pride.
It’s the small victories — the laughs, the connections, and the stories we create together.
Your Turn to Share the Clouds
Every day, I’m reminded that what I do is about more than likes or shares—it’s about people. It’s about you.
So, what’s your day like?
