What is CBG?
CBG (also known as Cannabigerol) is a cannabinoid compound obtained from Cannabis plants. It is one of the 120 cannabinoid compounds that have been identified. CBG has Cannabigerolic acid, or CBG-A, as its parent molecule. Other cannabinoids are also derived from CBG-A. The most common cannabinoids are CBD (Cannabidiol) and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). CBG passes through the body’s endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for maintaining optimal balance regardless of external influence.
